Bill "Lil Blue" Paige, 68, of Muskogee, OK, was born on April 25, 1948 in Joplin, MO, the son of Roma Jean Walter and died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home in Muskogee.
Bill was a Special Forces Green Beret in the Army, having served three tours in Vietnam; and a 2nd degree black belt. He loved camping, singing, scuba diving, whistling in the car to his country music, his horses, riding his motorcycle with the Three Rivers Guard Dogs, sailing, and most importantly, he loved his children and was a proud grandpa. Bill was retired from the military, police department, and the Department of Corrections.
Survivors include his daughter, Laura (Paige) Lee and husband, Jeff, of MO, and grandkids, Kira and Aeryn Lee; son, Matthew Paige and wife, Angie (Coit) Paige of MO, and grandkids, Colvin, Cooper, and Kennedy Paige; son, Tavis Paige of MO; daughter, Angela (Paige) Cox and husband, Doug, of CA, and grandkids, Alex and Kaleb Cox; daughter, Jaymi Paige of Tennessee; stepchildren, Tena Lanik, Emalea Case, Jessica Lund, Cary Lund Jr., Brandon Lund, and Whitney Lund; brother, Guy Walcott and wife, Teri (Stokes) Walcott of KS. He was preceded in death by his mother, Roma Jean Walter; sister, Paul Phillips; Uncle Wayne Walter; grandparents, Richard "Dick" and Opal Walter; and spouse, Dana Paige.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee, OK, with Rev. Bill Crow officiating.
