Alan Jay Brady, 46, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away January 3, 2017 at his home. He was born August 2, 1970 to Larry and Amy (Sobba) Brady in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Alan graduated from Muskogee High School in 1988 and from Northeastern State University in 1992 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He worked as a mechanic for Spirit AeroSystems in Tulsa.
Alan was a devoted father to his daughter Allison, 10. He shared his love of Star Wars and soccer with her, and assisted as a coach on her soccer team. He was also an avid fan of the University of Oklahoma football team.
Alan is survived by his daughter, Allison Michelle Brady; mother, Amy Brady and stepfather, Ronald Jones; sister, Jennifer Brady, her husband, Kevin Erdmann and their children, Adam, Keegan and Paige; grandmother, Doris Kueser; uncle and aunt, Richard
and Sandra Sobba; and cousins, Roni Shindler and Christy Watkins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Brady; and his grandparents, Alfred and Velma Brady, and Augustine Sobba.
Alan grew up in Bethany Presbyterian Church, and memorial services will be held there (now the Presbyterian Church of Muskogee, 2000 Haskell Blvd.) at 2 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to contribute to a fund for Alan's daughter, Allison.
